BlockRun

Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

By using BlockRun, you agree to these terms. BlockRun is a permissionless AI gateway that processes payments via x402 on Base and Solana. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service. We may update these terms from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of it.

Who You Are Contracting With

These terms are an agreement between you and BlockRun, Inc., a Delaware corporation headquartered in San Francisco, California (“BlockRun”, “we”, “us”). If you use the service on behalf of a company or another legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind it, and “you” means that entity. A signed enterprise agreement with BlockRun, Inc. governs where it conflicts with these terms.

No Accounts

BlockRun does not issue accounts, API keys, or credentials. Access is established by paying for a request from a wallet you control. You are responsible for the security of that wallet and its private keys, and for any request paid for from it. We cannot freeze, recover, or reverse funds held in a wallet we do not control, and we have no ability to restore access to a wallet whose keys are lost.

Payments

  • All payments are in USDC on Base or Solana via x402
  • Payments are non-refundable once settled on-chain
  • Pricing is per-request: provider rates with no margin on chat tokens, a 5% margin on media generation and live search, plus a flat $0.001 transaction fee per call
  • Prices are quoted per request before payment; paying a quote constitutes acceptance of that price
  • Prices may change at any time, but never retroactively — a settled request is settled at the price you agreed to
  • You are responsible for any network fees and for any taxes arising from your use of the service

Acceptable Use

Do not use BlockRun for illegal content, malware, spam, or anything that violates the terms of our AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). We may block wallets that violate these rules.

You also agree not to attempt to circumvent payment, to interfere with or degrade the service or the infrastructure it runs on, to probe or test its security without our written permission, or to resell access in a way that misrepresents its origin. You remain responsible for the lawfulness of your requests in your own jurisdiction, including any restrictions that apply to the outputs you generate and how you use them.

Third-Party Providers

Requests are fulfilled by the model and data providers you select. Those providers set their own terms, availability, and content policies, and their behaviour is outside our control. A provider may change, deprecate, rate limit, or withdraw a model at any time. Where a model becomes unavailable we will generally route to an equivalent or remove it from the catalog, but we do not guarantee that any specific model will remain callable.

Availability and Changes

We do not commit to any particular uptime and may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. Because there are no accounts or subscriptions, discontinuing the service does not strand a prepaid balance — you pay only for requests as you make them. A request that fails before it is served is generally not charged.

Your Data

We do not share, sell, or train on your prompts and completions. Your request is forwarded only to the AI provider you select, solely to generate the response. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uptime. AI outputs may be inaccurate; review them before you rely on them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockRun, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, business, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid BlockRun in the 30 days before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, and the limitations above apply only to the extent that law permits.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we each consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
